Morgan Sansous
Bio
Morgan SANSOUS, né en France en 1981, étudie le solfège et le piano au conservatoire d’Asnières-sur-Seine, avant de devenir principalement batteur. Passionné par la musique, il devient rapidement multi-instrumentiste. Basse, violoncelle, batterie et piano.
Ses influences sont multiples, lui permettant de s’adapter à des styles de musique aussi divers que variés. Il passe alors beaucoup de temps en studio et sur scène. Parallèlement à son statut de musicien, Morgan se dirige vers le rôle de compositeur et arrangeur. Il est alors sollicité dans de nombreux projets, hip hop, électro, rock, métal, reggae ou encore classique.
C’est le métal et la diversité de ce courant musical qui va influencer la direction artistique de Morgan. Un style qu’il affectionne particulièrement, lui permettant de s’épanouir à la batterie, son instrument de prédilection. C’est dans les années 90 qu’il va intégrer des groupes comme ABSOLUTE, C4 et parcourir les routes de France et d’Europe pour de nombreux concerts. Au début des années 2000, Morgan va créer HENKER, groupe de brutal death technique qui va rapidement s’imposer comme le groupe majeur de ce style en France. Morgan va alors perfectionner sa technique pour ce genre musical d’une manière radicale et sera reconnu mondialement et sollicité dans de nombreux shows et magazines pour promouvoir sa vison du jeu de batterie moderne caractérisé par une technique de double grosse caisse, intitulé quadru-pédale, dont il est le seul à en maitriser la technique. Ainsi, il ouvre les portes d’un nouveau genre musical et révolutionne les codes de la vitesse.
Ces dernières année, il a su s’adapter aux nouvelles méthodes de création artistique et se lance dans la M.A.O. (Musique assisté par ordinateur) lui permettant ainsi une plus grande autonomie et de fusionner les nouvelles technologies avec les instruments plus traditionnels.
Sa connaissance de la musique métal et son expérience lui ont permis de proposer une série d’albums variés au sein de CEZAME. Il s’est entouré de musiciens studio tels que Cédric GASTAUD, Fabien CROES ou encore Sham MAKDESSI. La puissance et l’efficacité résulte également dans sa collaboration avec Emmanuel ROUSSEAU, ingénieur studio à WHITE WASTELAND STUDIO.
